Multiple Complex Development Disorder
McDD is the latest form of Autism. Until 2007 it was a subgroup within McDD PDD-NOS. McDD has only a few characteristics which are very specific to McDD. Therefore it's only a stand-aline diagnosis withing the Autism Spectrum since 2007.
For the most part McDD is exactly the same as PDD-NOS. The main difference with PDD-NOS is that someone with McDD, next to having "PDD-NOS issues", has problems with regulation of emotions and distinguishing between reality and fantasy. This allows events by someone with McDD later to be told completely different. They are usually told in a way that is favorable to themselves. For someone with McDD the story as they tell is the true!
For someone with McDD not the contact problems but the problems in regulation of emotions and distinguish between reality and fantasy is the main problem.
When someone with McDD is scared, he or she immediately gets into a panic. When someone is angry, they immediately get outraged, and so on.
Because McDD and PDD-NOS are, for the most part the same, This page only explained the main differences..
